Match Day 1 of Sinobo Guoan Cup

Eight teams played in two groups in the first match day. In group A, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube of Brazil won over Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. in 1-0. Beijing Sinobo Guoan was defeated by PSV Eindhoven in 0-2. In group B, Club Atletico Boca Juniors won over Club Nacional de Football of Uruguay in 1-0, Hebei China Fortune was defeated by SK Slavia Praha in 1-5.

The first match of group A was between Cruzeiro and Wolverhampton. Although Cruzeiro’s player missed a penalty in the match, they still found the net near the end of the game. Cruzeiro Won.

In the first match of group B, Club Atletico Boca Juniors confronted Club Nacional de Football. Two South American teams played a fast paced, highly competitive match. Boca Juniors won, 1-0.

SK Slavia defeated Hebei China Fortune in 5-1 in another match of group B.

Beijing Sinobo Guoan confronted PSV Eindhoven in the group A. Despite our lads’ effort to tackle and protect our defensive line, we still lost the game in 0-2. Nevertheless, our young boys would never loss their spirit.
