RESULT | Four players score against Chongqing SWM in the 4-1 comeback

Beijing FC played against Chongqing SWM on Match Day 17 of 2019 CSL tonight. The home side conceded a goal after 2 minutes, allowing Chongqing an early lead. Jin Taiyan replaced the injured Li Lei in the first half and delivered the cross to assist Piao Cheng’s equalising header in 39^th minutes, bringing the home side back on level terms. In the 48^th minute, Renato Augusto scored from a penalty kick, Beijing FC took the lead. Jonathan Viera’s follow-up shot increased the gap in the 64^th minute. In the 70^th minute, Zhang Xizhe’s deflected attempt sealed the game at 4-1. Our No. 10 was able to celebrate his personal achievement while his goal record now matches with that of the legend player Tao Wei: the two are currently all-time goal scorers of the club.

/Highlights/

39’    Jin Taiyan crossed the ball to the middle of the box, and Piao Cheng was able hammer the equalising header.

48’    Augusto scored the 12-yard and brought Beijing FC the lead. 2-1.

64’    Piao Cheng’s long pass found Augusto on the right flank, the latter found the gap between opposition’s defensive line and the goalkeeper. Viera easily tapped the ball in and doubled the lead.

70’    Zhang Xizhe received the ball near the 12-yard point and his attempt was deflected into the net. The goal not only sealed the game but also helped Beijing FC’s No. 10 match with Tao Wei's all-time goal record of 40 goals.
